japan trip #5
day 12 (make it count)
- my last day here was nonstop and i’m shocked my feet aren’t bleeding
- went to the kirby cafe. this was one of the most joyous experiences i’ve ever had ever
- the decor and atmosphere is fucking phenomenal and probably what it’s like to see disneyland for the first time as a kid
- the food is cute and special, i got a strawberry milk with foam art, pizza, and kirby car dessert
- i bought the store afterwards
- went to pokemon center
- went to nintendo store
- went to yotsuya station
- went to united arrows
- went to GU again
- check out of the hotel and with two very heavy luggage, a heavy shoulder bag, and a big kirby plush, we set forth trying to make it to the airport on time
- first we try train, which i miss the last train on my second stop
- next we try expressway bus to the airport, which happens to be full
- finally i just call a taxi, which is very expensive but i have no choice also fuck it holy shit i’m sweaty and over it
- 10 min to spare phew
final thoughts or something
- will try to keep this brief cause i’ve been gabbin away (and also i have some videos to edit ohohoho)
- this trip was not what i expected at all, but it was really valuable and special and i'm very grateful this could even happen in the first place
- everything i thought would be hard was easy and everything i thought would be easy was hard
- suica card on apple wallet is amazing
- the fashion/style inspired me very very deeply
some notes for the future:
- learn japanese ya dingus
- go to way more food places instead of family mart
- research japanese clothing places to visit
- research a bit more places to go to (tighter itinerary but still open)
- september's not bad, but october would probably be perfect weather-wise
- reserve kirby cafe again
- Go With People
ok that's it i think, thanks for reading~
