japan trip #4
day 9 (shimokitazawa (again), sushi)
- yeah i had to go here again to buy more clothes, and even more clothes, and also some more clothes also though
- ok i only bought a coat but it’s a Good Coat
- had my first not good meal here yayyy!! ty to random izakaya here
- went to a super cute waffle cafe place after and they were blasting high school musical songs and my friend and i were very happy
- saw some pants that said “the fucking liveing” which is great
- saw a spongebob shirt that said “monskiski”, we don’t know why
- afterwards i went to a fancy yet somehow still reasonably priced sushi place that had glowing reviews
- best unagi i’ve ever had, it had fermented butter on top like bitch what the fuck
- fresh uni pudding, maple roasted dessert latte, etc etc
day 10 (moooore shopping, not nichome)
- yup, this trip is responsible for my wardrobe for the next 10 years huh
- went to comme ca ism
- went to union station
- went to US boarder
- went to buffalo bobs
- went to beams
- this was not how i was expecting to spend my time/money here but this is also way more core than i realized
- was going to go to nichome with a guy but it fell through due to a misunderstanding and i’m grahhhhhh
day 11 (takadanobaba, pack it up)
- hung out with another friendooooo
- we went to a retro arcade and tried to beat metal slug x
- i was very not good but we made it to the last level until the game just said fuck you and walled us with enemy spam
- ate at a dipping ramen place and the pork was mwah
- talked about sheet music accessibility and game music philosophy like the good little music nerds we are
